It Only Continues for as Long as You Do

March 15, 2013

So the casting producer for Catfish: The TV Show called me regarding the bizarre situation that I went through (see here). While I was encouraged by (almost) everyone I know to go forward with it and see what being on the show would entail, I decided against it. Not only do I know that the cowards who did it would not cooperate or ever show their faces, but I feel way past the situation at this point and all the more healthy for it. I have a feeling they, or perhaps a friend they have also lied to, have read my blog due to the sour comment I was left on the original post, and so if you read this one — you can thank me that MTV won’t be calling you anytime in the near future.

In mentioning my decision to one of my closest and dearest friends, she told me, “Yeah. You have more dignity than that, too.”  It’s an important thing to have sometimes. At least just enough to maintain your propriety and keep your eyes on the right decision.

I am only sad that I won’t get to marry Nev now. Image
